Cozy Dining Experience

The Library at Hume Hotel was such a good surprise! The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy dinner. I indulged in the Cauliflower Steak, a delicious vegan option, while my companion enjoyed the Ravioli, which was packed with flavor. Not to mention, their cocktail selection is fantastic – I highly recommend the Season Turning cocktail. It was one of the highlights of our meal!

Beautifully Updated Rooms

Our suite was perfect for our family getaway. We managed to fit five people comfortably, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot days in Nelson. The luxury of having divided rooms provided us with the privacy we needed. The bathroom was not only clean but had that old-school charm that I loved. Highly recommended for families!

Relaxing Spa Experience

I absolutely loved my visit to the spa at Hume Hotel. The couple's massage was hands down the best I've ever had! The therapists were skilled and attentive, making the entire experience relaxing and rejuvenating. After a long day of exploring, this was the perfect way to unwind. Great Entertainment Options

While dining in the lounge, we were treated to live jazz music. The setting was perfect for a lovely evening out, and the combination of good food and live music made for an lovely night. It's a wonderful addition that added to the overall atmosphere of our visit.

Staying at The Hume Hotel was a delightful experience overall. The renovation work has been beautifully executed, combining modern comforts with the charm of its historic roots. Although the noise insulation between rooms could use improvement, and the air conditioning wasn’t ideal, the friendly and attentive staff made our stay memorable. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast options and other dining experiences, which definitely added value to our trip.

I can't recommend this hotel enough! It's got everything—beautifully renovated rooms, excellent amenities, and a fantastic atmosphere. I enjoyed delicious brunch and had a great experience overall. However, the restaurant food didn't quite meet my expectations, which was a letdown compared to the rest of the hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this gorgeous historic hotel, which impressively blends charm and modern comfort. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned to perfection, while the breakfast included was one of the best I've experienced - so many options and generous portions! The only downside was a bit of noise coming from the area outside my room, but it didn’t take away much from the overall experience. I can't wait to return next year!
