Staying at The Hume Hotel was a delightful experience overall. The renovation work has been beautifully executed, combining modern comforts with the charm of its historic roots. Although the noise insulation between rooms could use improvement, and the air conditioning wasn't ideal, the friendly and attentive staff made our stay memorable. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast options and other dining experiences, which definitely added value to our trip.

However, the restaurant food didn't quite meet my expectations, which was a letdown compared to the rest of the hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this gorgeous historic hotel, which impressively blends charm and modern comfort. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned to perfection, while the breakfast included was one of the best I've experienced - so many options and generous portions! The only downside was a bit of noise coming from the area outside my room, but it didn't take away much from the overall experience. I can't wait to return next year!

The hotel has a lot of character with its antique decor and historical charm. I really enjoyed the wonderful restaurant and the cozy pub, although I wish there was a pool available. The parking situation is a bit tricky, but with the nearby city carpark options, it wasn't too much of an issue. Overall, it's a unique place that offers great value for those looking to enjoy downtown Nelson, even if it might be a bit pricier than some other options.
